Takeoff & estimating tool set for elevated slab formwork, shoring and reshoring, built for concrete contractors, formwork estimators and general contractors who price their own decks. This tool set covers 13 takeoff tool sets with 253 tools and 5 detail tool sets with 229 figures — every takeoff tool a native Bluebeam area, length or count measurement that lands in the Markups List ready to total, and a separate metric edition of the same tools measured in metres and square metres.

A deck is drawn once as an area with the tool for its slab thickness and floor height, and the tool prices the panels or plywood, the joists and stringers or ledgers, the shores, props, frames or towers on the grid the system rates at that height, the braces, tripods, mudsills or rails, the release, and the labor to erect, strip and move — shoring included, so no forms-in-place price is added on top. Post shores lose capacity with height and the tools carry the tighter grids; frames do not. Beams and drop panels are priced complete with their own shoring, slab edges, steps, pour strips and stair soffits are drawn as lines or areas, openings and shafts are counted with captioned symbols, and reshoring is priced per level per month.

Every tool drops its own numbers into 67 custom columns: quantity and contact area; forms, ties, hardware and consumables; up to three support lines (stringers or ledgers, shores or towers, braces and rails); rental over the cost period, labor hours at first use with the reuse curve applied, labor cost, equipment, total cost, sell price, cost per square foot, forms on rent and concrete volume. Labor rate, uses per month, waste and markup sit in plain Number columns — set them once for the whole takeoff or overwrite any row — and no price, wage or hour is embedded in a formula. Every tool ships priced: Symons parts are priced by catalog weight against the published aftermarket, used-market and dealer prices and rented at a stated percentage of purchase value per 28-day month; shores, frames, beams, plywood and hardware carry sourced defaults; labor is RSMeans-class hours per 100 square feet at first use. Every rate, its source and its confidence is listed on the included project rate card, and a calculation guide shows every formula with worked examples.

The 5 detail tool sets hold every figure of the Symons DeckFast and Drop Head application guides and brochures and the Hi-Lite aluminum shoring brochure as vector snapshots — line work and callouts as drawn by the manufacturer, one figure per tool, named by system and subject — to drop beside the takeoff to show the crew which bearing, clip, pattern or erection step the price assumes.

Delivered as a Revu profile that installs the tool sets, columns and Markups List layout in one import, plus the 18 tool set files and the column set on their own, in imperial and metric editions, with the calculation guide and project rate card. It shares its column set with the Concrete Forming tool set, so both load into one profile.
