Takeoff & estimating tool set for HVAC ductwork, hydronic and domestic
water piping, and plumbing, built for mechanical estimators, sheet-metal
and piping contractors, and mechanical engineers. This tool set covers 19
tool sets and 2,150+ sized tools — 26 rectangular duct widths from 6 to
72 in, 29 round duct diameters from 4 to 60 in, and 14 pipe sizes from
1/2 to 12 in — every one a native Bluebeam polylength or count measurement
that lands in the Markups List ready to export. 

Every tool carries its trade, system, shape, material, gauge, pressure
class, connector, seam, sealer and hanger type, and drops its own numbers
into 101 custom columns: total length, segments, joints and hangers;
sheet-metal area and weight at the tool's gauge from the SMACNA tables;
cleats, corners, bolts, nuts, washers, gasket, sealant, rod, beam clamps
and strut; pipe weight; material cost, hardware cost, shop hours and
cost, field hours and cost, and total cost. You type at most the second
duct dimension, a riser height, a rod drop, an elbow angle, or a quantity
multiplier to repeat a typical floor. Material, labour and hardware rates
sit in plain Number columns — set them once for the whole takeoff or
overwrite any row — and no price, wage or hour is embedded in a formula.
Every tool ships priced, with sourced defaults for duct, pipe, terminals,
dampers, louvers and hardware and flagged budget figures where no public
price exists, listed on the included project rate card; a calculation
guide shows every formula and worked examples. Rectangular duct is priced
by weight with TDC joint hardware per joint; round duct joins by coupling;
pipe is priced by the foot as copper Type L to 2 in and steel Schedule 40
from 2-1/2 in, with hanger spacing to IMC and IPC. Delivered as a Revu
profile that installs the tool sets, columns and layout in one import,
plus the 19 tool set files and the column set on their own, in imperial
and metric editions.
